Several details remain open. Omni currently answers questions only, but founder and CEO AJ Shankar said it will soon take actions inside Everlaw, such as creating and managing search term reports, creating assignment groups, preparing productions, and working in Storybuilder. No date has been set for those capabilities. The Harvey integration was slated for joint customers in fall 2026, and the Harvey and Legora connectors are scheduled to launch later this month. Everlaw has not yet made public pricing for Omni beyond its premium classification.
The bigger shift is Everlaw's decision to open its platform to outside AI tools. Through Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors, customers can use Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Harvey, and Legora alongside Everlaw data. Everlaw charges nothing for the connectors, either to its users or to the AI companies that integrate with it. Partnerships with Thomson Reuters CoCounsel Legal and Harvey, plus connectors for Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise for Legal and Microsoft 365 Copilot, extend that reach. Anthropic's May 2026 legal connector push already included Relativity, Everlaw, and Consilio. Shankar says Everlaw's MCP usage is more than doubling every month, before the Harvey and Legora connectors go live. Everlaw also plans to let users invoke the Omni Agent from within Claude, Harvey, and other outside tools. For attorneys, the practical question is whether Everlaw becomes the evidence layer their other AI tools rely on, and whether that changes how they evaluate review platforms, vendor contracts, and data-access terms.
