Organizations face exposure to data breaches, regulatory violations in healthcare and financial services, intellectual property theft, and compliance penalties. For in-house counsel and compliance officers, the immediate priority is establishing baseline visibility into shadow AI usage and implementing governance frameworks that address both security risks and employee demand for AI-enabled workflows.
