Judge Brantley Starr -- U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas
warning
Key Traps — Where Counsel Gets Caught
- 1. Any motion or stipulation requesting an extension of time must be filed at least 2 days before the deadline the party seeks to extend. Absent extraordinary circumstances, the Court will not consider untimely requests for extensions filed 2 days or less before the applicable deadline and will deem the underlying motion unopposed.
- 2. Effective 3/24/2020 - Judge Starr has temporarily suspended the requirement for a judge's copy of a document electronically filed. A judge's copy of a document electronically filed is not required.
